Hi, my name is Yifat Cohen and I am your GPlus (Google Plus) GoTo Gal. I have been active on Google Plus before it was available to the public and I grew my followers from zero to over 20,000 in 8 months.

I became active on GooglePlus when it first launched in June 2011 and had “only” a few thousand people on it. With less than 2000 followers (back then it felt like a lot), I was selected as one of The Best Google+ Users in 2011 CHOSEN BY Google+ COMMUNITY. Today, I am included in more shared circles than some people who have been doing Internet marketing for years (take a look at a list for Google Plus most valuable Plussers here). I get to interview amazing people like Mike Elgan and Daria Musk live through Hangouts On Air (I am one of the few people who have access to that) and my posts are being shared both by Google employees like Katherine Gramann as well as media reporters like Sara Hill.

 

But getting thousands of people into your Google+ circles is really not the most important part of Google Plus.
